"Candid Women, Inc was established with the idea of bring women together to focus on becoming whole..."

In 2014, Jose experienced pulmonary embolism which could have caused cardiac arrest. During the same time, she was diagnosed with Lupus. Since them, Jose has gained the understanding that women all over the world are hurting and many women, just like her, are in dire need of being uplifted, emotionally.

As a result, in October of 2016, Jose founded Candid women, Incorporated. Candid Women, Inc. was established with the idea of bringing women together to focus on becoming whole educationally, emotionally, mentally, professionally, physically, and spiritually.

Candid Women, Incorporated's mission is to empower women who face adversities such as domestic violence, health issues, educational disadvantages, along with all other issues that may hinder wholeness. This year, Jose launched her magazine, StrongSheIs, dedicated to women seeking wholeness.
